Ruttl and Saber Feedback both collect feedback on websites, for different stages of a site’s life. Ruttl is a review tool for designers, developers and agencies who want comments from their team and clients on a site, app, image or PDF. Saber Feedback is a feedback button for the customers and visitors using a live site.

The short answer: use Ruttl when your team and clients are reviewing a website or design and leaving comments on it. Use Saber Feedback when you want ongoing feedback from the people who use your website or web app, with browser details and errors, sent straight into Jira, Trello, Asana or Slack, and no per-user pricing.

Review projects vs a feedback button

In Ruttl, you set up a project for a site, app, image or PDF, then invite your team and guests to comment on it. Reviewers pin comments to the page and discuss them with you until the work is signed off. It’s designed around review rounds during a build.

Saber Feedback is a small script you add to your site, which shows a feedback button on every page. Anyone using your site can click it, point at the part of the page their feedback is about, and fill in the form you’ve built, in any of 15 languages. Each report arrives with a screenshot, the page URL, browser, operating system and screen size, the JavaScript errors from before it was sent, and any custom data you attach, such as a user ID or account name.

Pricing

Ruttl’s free plan covers one project with up to 5 pages. The Pro plan costs $18 per user a month, so a team of six pays about $108 a month.

Saber Feedback has flat plans at $49, $99 and $249 a month, with unlimited page views, unlimited feedback and no per-user limit. Screenshots and integrations start on the $99 Startup plan, and the price stays the same however many people on your team read feedback.

Integrations

Ruttl connects to Slack, Trello, Asana, Jira and ClickUp. Saber Feedback sends each report into Jira, Asana, Trello, Slack, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Basecamp, Redmine or Zapier, with the screenshot attached, or to your own systems by webhook.
